I got in! Unfournately that’s pretty much all I can say… though it is beautiful 
So they finally get around to a solid launch date for SWTOR and start allowing pre-orders with codes for early game access and the day after I get mine the site crashes. Go figure, guess I’ll just have to wait for it to come back up, though I must say this does not bode well for the game itself, hope it’s not an omen or something.
Well it’s the middle of the week anyway, it’s funny how when you don’t have a regular 9-5 job that things like Hump day really seem to loose their meaning and importance at least relative to when you worked a regular job. Now Wednesday to me is just Wednesday, it’s still the midway point but that’s pretty much it. Unless I have a sales call or an install it doesn’t mean much else, sadly this also means that Friday has lost some of it’s shine as well though I do still typically look forward to the weekends since they still mean a day during which I do do pretty much whatever I want without having to justify or explain to anyone, which is nice.
Well that’s all from me for now, have an appointment to prep for at 11a!
I’ve added a new forum to the website, it’s Vanilla, installed the proper plug-in and so you should now be seeing the widgets on the right side of the screen. I’m hoping to maybe get to a point where I post on this period but right now Facebook is just too easy and convenient, maybe I can sort out a way to have it cross post to here. Also Imported a ton of posts from my old LiveJournal blog, so now there’s stuff going back almost a decade on here

Now I’m sure it’s possible some of you out there might be wondering just what the frell a “Holocron” is, ok so maybe not, but basically a holocron is a fictional device used by beings in the Star Wars universe created by the ever endearing Mr. George Lucas (god help him!) to record knowledge. The device can then be used to play back the entries for any person authorised to view them.
So naturally me being the huge Starwars nerd that I am it was a perfect and natural fit for me to pattern my weblog after this glourious mythical device. I don’t know how often I’ll update this but I’ll try and be fairly consistent. Nothing much going on here, it’ll be three weeks this tuesday since my contract at Centurytel expired, I’m still waiting on a call back from the Tesoro guys on a time for a freaking interview. In the meanwhile I’ve kept myself busy with a string for work for one of my personal clients that netted me about 500 bucks last week. It was a good thing too since I wouldn’t have been able to pay all my bills without the work. God is looking out for me I suppose. I’m gonna be pulling down another check this week from the same people for almost the same money I hope which should put me with a comfortable ammount in the bank and let me pay the rest of my bills without going into my savings.
That all said it’s been nice not having to get up and go to work everyday, sure it’s been a little boring but such is the life of the semi-unemployeed.
Bryan still hasn’t gotten me his rent and Nick is waiting on his damn paycheck to get me the money HE owes me. So if all of that comes down like it should things will be just fine.
On the bright side I might be heading south for a week or so to help my dad with some lab setups down around South Padre Island, nothing like some R&R on a beach to lift the spirits eh?
Well hopefully I’ll get a call back from someone soon, otherwise I’m gonna need to line up some more semi-steady work. Shouldn’t be hard but it’ll be a new exprience for me.

It’s a flaming miricle.. we won a home football game! WOOT!
So yeah, sorry ’bout not updating as regular but since I’m not stuck in front of a computer with nothing to do all day well I haven’t had as much of a chance to do so.
That said, I have a reason, today I plan to go see a movie. Particularly one call Serenity, it’s based on the now cancelled (wrongly I might add) show Firefly. So if you’re on my list and a fan of the show or just bored and wanna go see what will hopfully be a excellent piece of visual joy then let me know. I’ll be checking back here shortly before noon and one.

Seriously, I wish people would call me if they’re not going to do something. It would make life so much better.
So my family is NOT comign up for teh weekend to avoid the storm, they’re instead going to ride it out at my Uncle Len’s house. This doesn’t really bother me though I would ask for those of you that pray to please keep them in yours till this storm does it’s thing.
